The final card for June 30th Wrestling Night in America Pay Per View show has been announced.  Here are the matches you will see at the Hale Arena in Kansas City, Missouri.

SPECIAL ATTRACTION: The Queens of Desire (Tammie Hardy and Savannah Smith w/Dawn McGill) vs. The Soviet Bloc (Svetlana Kovaleski and Nikita Kalashnik w/Agent Valya)

MVW majority owner Ray McAvay booked this match after a series of blowups between the two factions took place.  The Soviet Bloc took exception to Dawn McGill’s alleged ‘meddling’ in their matches with the Queens of Desire- both times leading to losses for the Soviet wrestlers.

SPECIAL ATTRACTION: ‘The New Age Cybertronic Criminally Insane Rogue Sentient Robot Wrestling Machine’ Ultratron-6.1 vs. ‘Suburban Homeboy’ Gary Walker

MVW minority owner Joe Bergman booked this match.  Walker has moved up impressively in the Men’s singles rankings over the past few weeks; Ultratron-6.1 reappeared out of nowhere to not only move through the Heartland division to win the title but also earn promotion to the Men’s Division.

WOMEN’S HEARTLAND TITLE: Yosemite Samantha © vs. #1 Kirsten Canfield

The story here is Yosemite Samantha was relegated out of the Women’s Division by the ‘Queen of the Trailer Park’ Lani Harlot and is looking to get back.  Kirsten Canfield is also a multi-time Women’s Heartland champion who just knocked off Eve to earn another chance for the title.

MEN’S HEARTLAND TITLE: Buckshot Henderson vs. #1 Mark Hendry

In the Men’s Heartland title match, we have Buckshot Henderson also suffering relegation down to the Heartland Division at the hands of Ultratron-6.1’s promotion to the Men’s Division.  Henderson can become the new Men’s Heartland Champion with a win but he’s going up against the new Sports Entertainment Corporation singles wrestling Mark Hendry- former of the Alabama Gang.  Hendry has mowed through the competition and now lies on the cusp of winning his first singles title.

MVW WOMEN’S TAG TEAM TITLE: Jill Berg Enterprises (‘Canadian Cyborg’ Sheline Carrigan and Madison Miller w/CEO Jill Berg) © vs. The Working Girls (Caroline Lewis and ‘Queen Cool’ Leah Iris)

JBE has held the title since defeating The Hanson Sisters at Night of Champions back in December 2023.  Carrigan and Miller have jelled together well since becoming a tag team.  Caroline Lewis and Leah Iris are no strangers to the tag champions- they’ve come up short in a couple title challenges against Jill Berg Enterprises.

Why did Ray McAvay and Joe Bergman chose the Working Girls to be JBE’s opponents at Wrestling Night in America?  The Hanson Sisters faded down the rankings as did the Rose Warriors and as did The Working Girls in the past couple months.  However, no one else had a better six month stretch in MVW save the MVW Women’s Tag Team Champions- that’s why The Working Girls earned their title shot.

MVW MEN’S TAG TEAM TITLE: The Stevens Dynasty (Bo and George Stevens w/Cary Stevens) © vs. No Quarter (Bracken Krueger and Daryn Thompson)

This is a blood feud that’s been roiling on for months now.  The Stevens Dynasty and No Quarter have fought tooth and nail over the MVW Men’s Tag Team title for over nine months now with no signs of the strife abating between the two teams.  The Stevens Dynasty are 3-time champions- tying them with the Southern Boys for the most Men’s tag team title reigns.  They lead a division that is stacked with the likes of 2-time Men’s Tag Team Champions The Alabama Gang in the mix along with The Sports Entertainment Corporation, The Redneck Mafia, Surf Express Bro, and their opponents June 30th at Wrestling Night in America- No Quarter.

Why did McAvay and Bergman choose No Quarter to be the Stevens Dynasty’s opponent?  It was a no-brainer. No Quarter holds DQ wins over Bo and George Stevens in the past couple months. The decision to book Bracken Krueger and Daryn Thompson to challenge the Stevens Dynasty at Wrestling Night in America was easy.

MVW WOMEN’S TITLE: Jennifer Colton © vs. Victoria McGill

Jennifer Colton has been THE woman in MVW’s Women’s Division for over a year now- holding the title belt for over nine months in two different title reigns since defeating Daryn Thompson for the title in June 2023.  Victoria McGill is also a 2-time MVW Women’s champion.  McGill defeated Shizuko Yamazaki for the title back in June 2022… lost the title to Daryn Thompson… won it back from Colton who’d taken the title from Thompson… then lost the belt back to Colton.  Tori used to run with Jill Berg Enterprises.  Now she’s hanging with the Queens of Desire.

Why did McGill get the match?  She held the MVW Women’s title until March 2024 and Shizuko Yamazaki hasn’t done enough to earn the shot.

MVW TITLE: Luke Woods © vs. ‘Redneck’ Bill Dickinson

Luke Woods dethroned Bill Dickinson’s record-setting MVW title reign in April and successfully defended the belt against the 330-pound Southern Brawler’s challenge in May.  Woods has been on a rocket ride up the rankings since his arrival in MVW last year.  Woods won the Heartland title in June 2023 and held the belt until October when he won promotion to the Men’s Division where he then moved quickly up the rankings and gave chase to Bill Dickinson and the MVW Title.  Dickinson has slipped to #3 in the rankings with losses to Aaron Gray and Ricky Stevens in the past few weeks.

Why did McAvay and Bergman book this match?   Dickinson vs. Woods has been the big feud in the Men’s Division and with the other three title matches, this was another no-brainer.
