Men’s Tag Team Champions The Alabama Gang (R.G. Jenkins and Mark Hendry) will be in action tonight against Bob Zardoz and John Wack. Hall notes Jenkins and Hendry have two big matches coming up.  They will fly to Australia to challenge High Octane Wrestling’s Final Alliance Dan Ryan and Jatt Starr this Sunday night for the Phoenix Wrestling Alliance’s Tag Team title.  As such, their scheduled MVW Men’s Tag Team title defense against The Stevens Dynasty has been pushed back to the Saturday August 12th MVW house show in Wichita, Kansas.

A big #2 vs. #3 match in the Women’s Division between Lisa Barbosa-Stevens and Victoria McGill.   The winner will take on the #1 contender- ‘The Shadow Warrior’ Shizuko Yamazaki next week.

And in our main event, Men’s Champion ‘Redneck’ Bill Dickinson takes on Bo Bevans- Down at the Farm as he gets ready for his big title defense next Tuesday night against the Sports Entertainment Corporation’s Ricky Stevens.

-next week on Wrestling Night in the Heartland, Ricky Stevens will send Bill Dickinson back to the hole-in-the-wall dive bars he and the Alabama Gang frequent and will never touch this title again, so long as it is in the SEC’s possession.

BACKSTAGE: Kellie Burkowski Interviews Tammie Hardy
Tammie’s excited about getting the win tonight and tells Kellie that she can’t wait for another opportunity to get back into the Heartland Division.  She’s working real hard and putting the time in and hopefully she’ll get promotion up to the Heartland Division and this time stay there for a while.

BACKSTAGE: The Stevens Dynasty

The wily and cankerous patriarch of the Stevens Dynasty Cary Stevens states after months of bullshit dealing with the Kardoucheian Empire and Surf Express Bro… FINALLY… the Stevens Dynasty are gonna get their hands on the Alabama Gang and after Bo and George Stevens destroy them… all things will be back where they should be… August 12th in Wichita, Kansas… the Stevens Dynasty regain the Men’s Tag Team Titles.  The Alabama Gang is focused on ‘bigger’ belts.  The Stevens Dynasty is focused on the Men’s Tag Team title.

Bo and George nod accordingly as Cary exits.

Speaking of the Alabama Gang, the Men’s Tag Team champions are up next. Bob Zardoz and John Wack are already in the ring.

Rick Hall: It’s a win… a lot tougher win than it should have been… but it’s still a win.

Jenkins, Hendry, and Sunny O’Callahan stay in the ring after the match.

IN RING PROMO: The Alabama Gang
Post-match, Jenkins takes the microphone from Heather Cooper and tells Cary Stevens… wherever he is in this building,  a message… *BLEEP* you!” R.G. says he and Mark are gonna shut Cary Stevens’s big mouth up when they beat up on Bo and George Stevens again after they come back from Australia with the PWA Tag Title belts.  Jenkins apologizes to the fans for how he and Hendry wrestled tonight.  He admits he and Mark may have been distracted by upcoming events.  R.G. says he and Mark know exactly what needs to be done in the next couple weeks. First, they bring back the PWA Tag belts to MVW.  Second, they retain the MVW tag belts on August 12th.

Mark shouts “HELL, YEAH!” while manager Sunny O’Callahan nods while drinking from her bottle of Southern Comfort and swaying back and forth in the ring.

BACKSTAGE: Kellie interviews Jill Berg- CEO of Jill Berg Enterprises

Jill tells Kellie tonight is only the beginning.  JBE… partnering with the SEC… is poised to dominate Missouri Valley Wrestling.  Victoria McGill is rising fast in the rankings and tonight she will take another step towards regaining the Women’s Title.  Sheline Carrigan and Prisoner #034291 will win back the Women’s Tag Team titles next Tuesday night in Carbondale, Illinois.  Tessa Martin has a chokehold on the Women’s Heartland title.  The corporate power of Jill Berg Enterprises is too much for the rest of the subpar Women’s roster and soon all three belts will be with JBE.

Thunderbolt says we will find out if Tori McGill continues her rapid ascent toward a title shot against Jennifer Colton.

RICK HALL’S MATCH PREVIEW:
-Lisa is the #2 ranked contender in the Women’s Division.  Victoria McGill #3 after she defeated Debbie the Destroyer on Friday night.
-Both women are very familiar with each other.  Lisa’s trying to claw back into championship contention.  Tori wants to get back the Women’s Title she lost to Daryn Thompson last January at the St. Louis Supershow.
-Can Lisa hold off Tori?  Will Tori continue her fast climb and collision course towards Jennifer Colton.

Thunderbolt Smith: Big win tonight for Victoria McGill!  She will now take on ‘The Shadow Warrior’ Shizuko Yamazaki next Tuesday night on Wrestling Night in the Heartland in a #1 contender’s match.

Jill Berg suddenly springs down the aisle and gets into the ring! Jill Berg spins Lisa Barbosa-Stevens around. SPINNING HEEL KICK!

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Berg and McGill leave Lisa Barbosa-Stevens down on the canvas.

BUT WAIT… Women’s Champion Jennifer Colton is on the stage.

RAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

PROMO: Jennifer Colton

Colton tells McGill she’s picked the wrong time to mess with her.

RAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

She’s royally pissed off at her brother Nate Colton (a wrestler with PRIME) and now Jennifer has to deal with Tori after McGill turned on Colton at the Wrestling Night in America pay-per-view show.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Colton says Tori doesn’t deserve a shot at the Women’s title and gets a scowl back in response.

RAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

She says Victoria McGill was the champion… lost the title… and then went on one giant pity party for a couple months.  Now she’s back to be Jill Berg’s ‘Face of Jill Berg Enterprises’ again.  Colton hopes Tori won’t be doing any more topless photos like she did the last time she hooked up with Jill Berg Enterprises…

Jill Berg Enterprises

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Colton tells McGill she was the champion and now it’s over.  JBE can’t buy her the title back and if she ever thinks about attacking her from behind ever again, Jennifer promises to beat Tori so viciously she’ll need to run away on another prolonged vacation to Japan to recuperate.

Colton stomps to the back leaving a livid Jill Berg and Victoria McGill steaming in the ring
