Full results from last night’s Hastings, Minnesota house show:

April 9thHastings Civic Arena / Hastings, MN

HOW vs. PRIME MATCH: HOW’S Drew Mitchell vs. PRIME’s Adam Ellis- no decision/match never took place
-MVW owners Ray McAvay and Joe Bergman put the kibosh on the match and MVW security escorted both Mitchell and Ellis from the arena.  Ellis’s part-time contract has been sold to Appalachian Mountain Championship Wrestling.

WINNER-#5 WOMEN’S HEARTLAND DIVISION: (Non-Division Champion) Emma Faith Barbosa-Stevens defeated #5 Ninja Kitty
-Barbosa-Stevens comes through with her biggest MVW win. She is promoted to the Women’s Heartland Division.  Ninja Kitty is relegated down to the Women’s Non-Division.

WINNER-#5 MEN’S HEARTLAND DIVISION: (Non-Division) Tiger Jackson defeated (Non-Division) Kyle Davenport and (#5 Contender) Mark Fisher
-Due to Adam Ellis’s contract being sold, Mike McWilliams moved up to #4 in the Men’s Heartland rankings.  Mark Fisher moved to #5 in the Heartland rankings with the top next two Non-Division contenders Tiger Jackson and Kyle Davenport being pulled up into the Heartland Division title match.
-Jackson won the three-way match to move up into the Men’s Heartland Division.

WOMEN’S HEARTLAND TITLE: Kirsten Canfield © defeated #1 Allison Chambers
-Canfield cruised to an easy win over Chambers.

MEN’S HEARTLAND TITLE: J.J. Bittinger © defeated #2 Absolute Zero and #1 ‘Rock Star’ Robbie Marrs- Bittinger is promoted to the Men’s Division, Absolute Zero is the new Men’s Heartland Champion
-Another match impacted by the Ellis decision. J.J. Bittinger moved up to the Men’s Division with the win, Absolute Zero becomes the new Men’s Heartland Champion, and ‘Rock Star’ Robbie Marrs remains the #1 contender.

#2 vs. #3-WOMEN’S DIVISION: #2 Shizuko Yamazaki defeated #3 Yosemite Samantha
-Yamazaki had no trouble with Yosemite Samantha to hold her #2 ranking.

#1 CONTENDER’S MATCH-MEN’S TAG TEAM: #1 No Quarter vs. #2 The Sports Entertainment Corporation- double count-out draw
-Both teams brawled on the floor and were counted out by referee Ron Martin.
-MVW majority owner Ray McAvay came out and announced the match would be replayed this Saturday night in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

#1 CONTENDER’S MATCH-MEN’S DIVISION: #1 Luke Woods defeated #2 Ricky Stevens
-Another match impacted by the Ellis decision. Stevens moved up to #2 in the division and Woods partly avenged the Sports Entertainment Corporation’s loss at Spring Fling with a win.

NON-TITLE: Men’s Tag Team Champion The Stevens Dynasty (Bo and George Stevens) defeated #3 Surf Express Bro (Bradlee Nelson and Bowie Abrams)
-The Stevens Dynasty eased past the S.E.B.

NON-TITLE: Men’s Champion ‘Redneck’ Bill Dickinson defeated #3 Buckshot Henderson
-Dickinson had no problems with Buckshot Henderson.

WOMEN’S TAG TEAM TITLE: Jill Berg Enterprises (Sheline Carrigan and Madison Miller) © defeated The Working Girls (Caroline Lewis and ‘Queen Cool’ Leah Iris)
-Match of the night.  Carrigan and Miller survive to retain the title.

WOMEN’S TITLE: Jennifer Colton © defeated Victoria McGill
-Colton wins with the Jackknife hold to retain the MVW Women’s title.
